Project Description
Bridget Leathley
Lead Consultant
With a first degree in computer science and psychology, my working life started in Human Factors, initially in IT and then moving to high-hazard industries. After completing an MSc in Occupational Health and Safety Management, I was surprised how often the effect of the working environment on safety behaviour is ignored, something I have spent the last decade trying to change.
I provide health and safety training, management system support and risk assessments, alongside work in supporting cultural change. I have a particular passion for getting people to make the best use of technology to reduce risk, and talk about this on webinars, at conferences and during professional meetings.
In my spare time, I support some local groups with newsletters, training, driving, organising events and, inevitably, risk assessments. For relaxation, I walk or cycle, or on a rainy day, compile family photographs into printed albums.
