I love the English language – how the sounds roll around in your mouth, its quirks and its funny words.  ‘Discombobulated’ is one of my favourites. What’s yours?

In my ten years working as a writer and editor, I’ve certainly written a lot, and helped people write clearer, more concise business English. 

Before this, I spent ten years working as a marketing communications manager in various sectors. 

In my role as a communications advisor for a government department I devised strategies to help women and children access the health services needed after being subjected to violence. I’ve also worked in global internal communications, making sure people in offices around the world stay in the know.

​When I’m not at work, I’m teaching yoga, creating art or looking after my two children.
