Simon Marshall

I started my career as a mechanical engineer, but soon realised that my fascination for how things work was far superseded by my interest in how human beings work. From that moment onwards I’ve been on a journey to learn more about how we all make meaning of and intervene in the world around us.

This led me to become a consultant supporting leaders to create safe, healthy and high performing workplaces – and enabled me to work in many countries and with many clients and industries. I hope that because of the work I have done over a 30-year career, there are people who are alive today, families who have avoided the trauma of their loved ones being injured and people who are happier than they would have been otherwise.

I love reading, learning, classic cars, travelling, mountain biking and spending time with my family. I also mentor university students, supporting them as they start their careers.
