Mike Bridge

Mike Bridge is a specialist in HSQE compliance and culture change. He has a strong track record of improving safety culture and business performance across diverse and high-risk sectors, including rail, forestry, FM, defence, housing, UK public services, food production and utilities. Previously, as Group HSQE Head and Compliance Director, working directly with CEOs and operating boards in large plcs and family business of up to 25000 employees to successfully deliver HSQE improvement strategies, led award-winning safety initiatives, and achieved step changes improvements safety reporting and reduction in lost time injuries.

Mike began his career in insurance and then moved to the forestry sector after completing a MSc, eventually transitioning into national safety and business improvement roles. His work has supported ISO systems and certification, mergers, acquisitions, and long-term cultural change.  He is passionate about empowering people and unlocking performance through positive culture. Experience he has brought to consultancy work at Tribe since 2016, where he has worked both in Uk and internationally with complex organisations supporting them in creating cultures of performing together.
